Smart CCTV delivered our first video analytics solution in December 2006 into a highly secure site in central London. We have subsequently been involved with video analytics solutions for Public Space (city centre) CCTV, road traffic management and video incident detection, the automatic enumeration of pedestrian and traffic surveys in both civil engineering and retail market research applications.

We were one of the first companies to promote the advantages of using Mega Pixel CCTV cameras and the use of smart cameras to undertake the image processing at “the edge” in the UK.

As a value added reseller we are not constrained to only using our own software solutions, ours is a consultative sales process where we drill down to find out what the real problem that needs solving is and then to work with our client to determine if video analytics is really the correct solution. We probably recommend a completely different approach as often as we suggest a solution from ourselves!

Our market, while fast growing, is still small and therefore as a specialist supplier we need to build long term relationships with both our customers and suppliers so that while we can remain focused and flexible we can also provide the depth of resources needed to deliver part of what is often a large and complex project. Smart CCTV utilises Prince 2 methodology to ensure that we manage projects effectively.
