Power off the camera, insert the CF card into the rear slot.

Power the camera back on.

Go into “Settings”, then ‘Image’ tab.

At ‘maximum frame rate’ type ‘0’ (typing a 0 here will tell the camera to run at unlimited frame rate, or, as fast as possible).

Go to the ‘Trigger’ tab

Under ‘Action’ select ‘FTP’

Under ‘Motion’ select ‘Enable’

Under ‘Time Lapse Period’ type ‘0’ (you do not want time lapse recordings).

‘Image Size’ will be 1/1 (full resolution).

‘Forced Idletime(sec)’ type ‘0’

‘# Pre-Trigger Images’ type ‘0’

‘Pre-Trigger Interval’ (sec) type ‘0’

‘# Post-Trigger Images’ set to ‘1’ (you can increase this number to get more images per motion event.

‘Post-Trigger Interval’ (sec) type ‘0’

Under FTP settings:

FTP hostname should be the IP address of the camera.

Username should be ‘root’
-
Password should be whatever you’ve set the management password (default: ‘system’)

File Name and File Path you may leave as they are. You may also change these dynamic variables if you choose to (click to? icon to get more information on dynamic variables).
